Remington Model 1875 Revolver in .44-40
.44-40. 7.5" barrel. SN: 390. Full nickel finish, smooth two-piece walnut grips. Single action solid frame revolver with loading gate, six-chambered fluted cylinder, top strap groove rear sight, blade front sight and lanyard ring in butt. One line barrel address reads E. REMINGTON & SONS, ILION, N.Y. U.S.A. Rear web of left side of triggerguard is marked "44". Neither the grips or rear face of the cylinder are numbered. {ANTIQUE}

Condition
About fine. Bore moderately oxidized with scattered pitting and good rifling. Metal with most of the nickel intact, showing some wear and flaking and some scattered discolored oxidation and freckles of surface rust. Mechanically functional action. Ejector rod housing screw is missing from the end under the barrel. Grips with scattered bumps, dings and mars.
